That might not be an issue if I still lived in Los Angeles, but this is St Louis! And tomorrow it’s supposed to be in the 60s. I’m not complaining but I figure we’ll pay for it later. Had to work today so went out for dinner afterwards. Thankfully my favorite Vietnamese joint was open. It’s a bit of a dump but the food is great and dirt cheap. I took my disabled friend over there for his first taste of Vietnamese cuisine, and he’s already talking about what to order the next time he goes there and so I assume it was a hit. I’ve never been one to blindly go along with traditions, so the idea of pho and bahn mi for Christmas dinner didn’t seem all that odd to me...
Mmmm - just like mom makes (and no, she’s not Vietnamese)

You think that’s bad? I saw and heard thunder and lightning in Minnesota about an hour ago. And it’s been raining almost all day! Rain!?
